WakeCast Support
WakeCast turns the latest available Apple Weather forecast into a plan of AlarmKit system alarms.
Before relying on a conditional alarm
- Open Reliability Center and confirm the weather plan is current.
- Confirm Alarm Access and Location are allowed in WakeCast Settings.
- Confirm the alarm row is enabled and the Forecast Details screen shows the expected decision.
- Keep an independent ordinary alarm for safety-critical wake-ups.
Common questions
Why did a matching-only alarm stay silent?
The threshold may not have been met, or weather/location was unavailable. Matching-only rules intentionally stay silent when WakeCast cannot verify a match.
Why did a skip-on-match alarm still ring?
If WakeCast cannot refresh the forecast, skip-on-match rules intentionally remain scheduled. Forecast Details shows the most recent decision and error.
Why does coverage end after several days?
WeatherKit provides a limited forecast range and iOS decides when background refresh runs. Open WakeCast periodically to extend the plan.
How do I restore WakeCast Pro?
Open WakeCast Settings and choose Restore Purchases while signed in to the Apple Account that made the purchase.
